WØVFW Amateur Radio Club - VFW POST 3115

The WØVFW amateur radio club operates as a unit of the VFW Post 3115, but everyone is eligible to join the WØVFW club. Those who are eligible to join the VFW are urged to join. We are the only VFW post in the United States which has an included ham radio club. If you are not a licensed ham, we can help you earn your license! We all had to start somewhere.

The WØVFW Amateur Radio Club is comprised of Wichita area radio amateurs. Members operate in HF, VHF and UHF bands using the many modes of operation as may be allowed by their licenses.
You do not have to be a member to use the repeaters but if you use the repeaters regularly, you should join WØVFW to help support them.
Club Meets every third Sunday of the month at 3:ØØ PM at the VFW Post 3115 at 48Ø1 West Douglas Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 672Ø9.

Please join us Thursday evenings at 7pm for our weekly net on the 145.270 Repeater. All licensed HAMS are welcome.

At 7PM on Saturday evenings the 145.270 repeater hosts the local node for the Blind Hams Net. All licensed HAMS are welcome.
